Retired American solo vocalist with the United States Army Band. An accomplished performer, particularly of the US national anthem, Green is often called upon to sing at important sporting events, diplomatic functions and military ceremonies. Green and former military member, Bob McDonald are the primary national anthem singers for the Washington Capitals. His most notable anthem performance was at the 2009 "We Are One" presidential inauguration concert at the Lincoln Memorial in Washington, D.C. Prior to this his most notable outing was onstage in the TNT production "Christmas in Washington 2008", He is also a member of Voices of Service, an a cappella group formed by him and three other military members to provide music therapy to ex-military with PTSD. The group boasts advancing into the semifinals of America's Got Talent, season 14 for a shot to win one million dollars and to headline a Las Vegas show.

TorreyB has been featured on the cover of Get Out Loudoun and continues to make a name for himself in the Washington DC Metropolitan (DMV) Area.

Karl Alzner, born in British Columbia, Canada in 1988, built a hockey career defined by durability and leadership. He gained prominence with the Calgary Hitmen in the WHL, captaining the team and earning both WHL Player of the Year and CHL Defenceman of the Year honors in 2008. Internationally, Alzner played a pivotal role in Canada's consecutive gold medal victories at the World Junior Championships in 2007 and 2008, serving as team captain in the latter tournament. Selected fifth overall by the Washington Capitals in the 2007 NHL Entry Draft, Alzner became a cornerstone of their defense, known for his reliability and steady play. Having never missed a game between October 8, 2010, and April 7, 2018, Karl set a franchise record of 622 consecutive games played — the 13th-longest streak in NHL history. During his tenure with Washington, he helped the Capitals secure three Presidents’ Trophies (2010, 2016, and 2017), awarded to the NHL team with the best regular-season record. Alzner also contributed to the Hershey Bears' back-to-back Calder Cup championships in 2009 and 2010. After a tenure with the Montreal Canadiens, his NHL career concluded in 2020, leaving behind a legacy of resilience and commitment on the ice. Unfortunately, Mr. Alzner will not be available to receive his award in person. Accepting the award on his behalf will be The Washington Capitals Director of Youth Hockey Development, Peter Robinson.
